Whirloop
Set sail toward your destiny, or rather toward a gigantic maelstrom, so large it can suck up all the treasures from shipwrecks across the seas.
A great opportunity to grab some nice loot, but be careful not to get sucked in, crash into sharp rocks, or be sunk by the fearsome pirates lurking nearby.

I love sprite stacking <3 really well used here with that depth effect as you get closer to the center of the cyclone.
Really nice mechanic, it just needs an online leaderboard!
Hello! This is a fantastic game. Very fun with a great core idea, theme, and execution. Me and my friend can't agree on whether the ships are 2D sprites done very well or 3D models, can you please clear this up for us?
Hi Fungus, Thank you! No 3d Models are used in this game.
The ships are 2d sprite rendered one on top of each other to create the illusion of 3D depth, a technique called sprite stacking.
You can find a more detailed explanation of the process on the @Simsure_ Twitter page

Thank you! Never heard of it before but you clearly have some excellent technical skill to pull it off so flawlessly (and have me doubting everything I know about 2D sprites), best of luck to you guys in the future!
